    A product of chronology which is described as a science of locating historical events in time – arranging events in their order of occurrence in time.

    There are many companies engaged in the business of watch making spreading all over the world, Switzerland is the pioneer in this business after that Germany and Japan are the ones noted for major brands of wrist watches.

    The watches made by Switzerland are marked as Swiss Made and the term classifies any watch marked with these word as a symbol of quality and style, the most notable wrist matches of Switzerland are Rolex, Patek Phillipe, Vacheron Constantin, Frank Muller, Audmeras Piguet, Piaget Breitling, IWC - Schaffhausen (International Watch Co.), Blancpain, Omega, Zenith, Berguet, Jaeger LE Coultre, Tag heuer, & Longines.

    The price of these watches may go up to millions of dollars (US) for example Frank Muller Mega 4 is a Swiss Watch with a price tag of 2.7 Million Dollars.

    Germany is also one of the finest maker of wrist watches its most notable creations are Alang e Sohne, Union Glashutte, Muhle Glashutte, Glashutte Original, Nomos, Sinn, Meistersinger and Junghans.
    The prices of Alang e Sohne can go up to Millions of Dollars with Glashutte also noted for being among the expensive watches in the world.

    Japan is also one of the most reliable watch maker in the world, you all may have heard the name of Seiko, Citizen, Casio and Alba. These are the most used watches in the world noted for their low prices as compare to Swiss made watches but quality is not compromised and they maintain a very good rapport among the customers.

    Seiko quite popular due to its Seiko 5 brand one of the most popular of the brands in Asia and Eastern countries Seiko 5 is an automatic wrist watch and it is in the market since decades, there are few expensive watches of Seiko as well like Grand Seiko, Seiko is also popular for its Kinetic watches.

    Citizen like Seiko is also very popular among the masses, Citizen Eco-Drive watch which uses the sunlight energy to charge the battery and no need to replace the battery as frequently as normal quartz watch requires is very popular for its various brands like Caliber 2100 and Promaster watches.

    Casio is the most emerging and it is also the cheapest among the Japan made watches, very popular for Casio G shock and Casio Edifice brands.
